Children are my hearts delight.

Just reflecting on my wonderful children. Girls and Boys are so different in the way they are made. Even from a young age they gravitate to gender specific toys. EJ loves toy cars and Dads power tools already and he is only 1. My girls love to dress up, pink, high heels, hats, gloves. I like having both genders. And appreciating their differences, Seeing their characters form and grow. Wondering who their life partner will be. Praying they make wise choices and decisions. Praying they make God their first. I love you all each individually. BJ my boy who has turned into a man, who is full of life, calm, easy going, fun to be around. DJ my sunshine girl, who has a heart of gold towards everyone, who loves unconditionally. AJ my fluffy girl, who shares my sense of style, and loves to play, have hugs and kisses. MJ the baby who restored my heart, brown eyes that make you melt. EJ my little man, making his mark and fighting for attention. JJ I cant wait to hold you again my precious boy.

I love you all, you have made me who i am today. I wouldnt change one thing except to give you more love. For i know more now that what i did yesterday. Love always

Vegan Soy Cream Recipe

1 cup soy milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
pinch celtic sea salt
2 Tab Maple syrup (or you could use honey if you are only dairy intolerant)
1 cup Rice Bran oil
1-2 teaspoons fresh Lemon juice.

Put first 4 ingredients into blender and blend on high for 30 sec.
Pour oil in slowly and blend on high until all oil is used.
Keep blender going and blend for a minute.
Turn blender down to low and fold in juice. Blend for 15 secs. This will thicken the cream. Refridgerate.

This would be delicious sandwiched between ginger cake.

Inspirations

I love these pictures, they give me such warm fuzzies. They inspire me to create, dream and create a better world.
This one is called The Pearl.

And this image is just gorgeous. My sister has a large picture of this on her wall. I especially love the detail of the dress and fabric in this one.

Tidy Workspace.

With my recent brainwave Ive been writing lists of things I really need to complete. one list item was to clean up my workspace. It was so shabby, boxes falling apart, bags of material, things all over the place. But Friday I got stuck in and went through everything. EJ played in his cot next to me until he fell asleep. I feel so much more like sewing now and the list doesnt seem so daunting. Here is the evidence of hard work.
